With minimal effort on your part, our special events coordinators assure a successful event with great food, attentive service and an award-winning wine list to compliment any event.
Astaria’s private dining room is great for events of all sizes. It can host an intimate dinner for 12 as gracefully as a cocktail dance party for 200.
Candle-lit tables can be arranged in several different ways to suit your guest’s needs. Larger events can flow between the two story lobby of the historic Benjamin Franklin Hotel with its massive fireplace at one end and the view overlooking the pool and Astaria’s private dining room.
Our menus are designed to fit a wide range of tastes and budgets. Astaria prides itself on being flexible as well as creative; therefore, all sample menus may be customized for your event.
You can pre-select your wine from our 2007 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence Wine List. Menu pairings are also available from our Beverage Director. Personal wines are welcome (corkage fee applies).
A cocktail hour with appetizers either tray-passed or placed on the table (your choice) may be designed for most events.
We can arrange for live music, audio-visual presentation equipment and any other detail to enhance your event.
Valet parking is available for dinner Thursday thru Saturday. It is also available upon request for your event. There are parking lots nearby on Second Avenue and El Camino and on San Mateo Drive between Third and Fourth Avenues.
